Day 1 - Gangtok: Arrival
Let’s embark upon the journey to explore the land of Buddhism, and perhaps your own self. Upon arrival at the Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, you will then be welcomed to the hotel in Gangtok to check-in. You can freshen yourself up at the hotel before heading out to explore the streets of this town. You can go on a shopping spree and pick up some authentic Sikkim Handicrafts from the place or just stroll around, window-shopping! Be sure to savour some regional delicacies of Gangtok before heading back to the hotel. Distance from Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok: 125 km Travel Time (Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok): Approx 4 hours Tip: Sample local Tibetan delicacies like Thukpa & momos.
