Day 1 - Leh: Arrival And Acclimatization
Welcome to the land of hillscapes and mountainous beauty: Leh. Upon arrival at the Leh airport, you and your partner will be escorted to the hotel. Complete a smooth check-in process and then relax the rest of the morning in order to acclimatize to the high altitudes of Ladakh. In the evening, visit the colorful markets of Leh and pick up some fun and colorful souvenirs for each other. Try some traditional Tibetan cuisine and then catch up on some sleep back at the hotel. Tip: At a height of more than 11,000 ft high, there will be a drop in oxygen level that will lead to acute mountain sickness. You should rest and stay hydrated in order to acclimatize yourself.
